Final post before the final presentation of design.

Current status of project: We are currently finalizing the project and polishing the final design. We are also looking into IP procedures and the possibility of patenting the design.

Work completed in the last week:  Spoke with client about near-final design for feedback.

Work planned for next week: Test/evaluate design.

Current status of project: We are currently finalizing the project and polishing the final design. We are also looking into IP procedures and the possibility of patenting the design.

Work completed in the last week:  Finalized physical prototype design, prep for printing. Decided on testing/evaluation procedures.

Work planned for next week: Test/evaluate design.

Work planned for next week: Make finalized CAD drawings and physical prototype.

Work completed in the last week:  Prepared presentation and paper, and finalized design overview.

Work planned for next week: Begin planning out physical prototype for ergonomics testing/fine-tuning.

Current status of project: The project is in the designing phase, and we are working on making drawings/sketches of our designs.

Work completed in the last week:  Made some CAD models, discussed ergonomics. Further discussion of IP.

Work planned for next week: We will prepare our presentation and paper, while consolidating all the research and design done in the past month. Will get client feedback on progress.

Anything needed from client or TA or instructor to continue work: feedback on progress from client.

Current status of project: The project is in the designing phase, and we are working on making drawings/sketches of our designs.

Work completed in the last week:  New drawings were made, and research on alternatives was done.

Work planned for next week: We plan to continue with the design process as we narrow down to our specifications. We also plan to compare our designs with other alternatives in order to make the most optimal design decisions.

Current status of project: The project is in the designing phase, and we are working on making drawings/sketches of our designs.

Work completed in the last week:  The website was constructed, a few newer sketches were made for the design.

Work planned for next week: We plan to continue with the design process as we narrow down to our specifications.

Current status of project: The project is in the designing phase, and we are working on making drawings/sketches of our designs.

Work completed in the last week:  We gave feedback for the preliminary sketches done by Alexander Padovano, and we finished the preliminary paper and presentation.

Work planned for next week: We plan to start making 3D illustrations using Autodesk Inventor and make the website.

Current status of project: The project is still in the planning phase. We have assigned sections of the paper to each group member and are making the PowerPoint for our presentation.

Work completed in the last week:  We completed a preliminary design for the spring-loaded locking mechanism and have sent the design to our client for feedback. We have also reviewed the video of the procedure our client sent and have performed preliminary patent and literature searches.

Work planned for next week: We plan to finish our literature search and produce preliminary 3D models of the instrument in Autodesk Inventor.

Anything needed from client or TA or instructor to continue work: Feedback from client on preliminary designs and more specific design constraints.
